Why Apply For Self-Collection Merchant Account
There are two payment settlement methods for merchants: Platform Proxy Collection and Merchant Self-Collection.
Platform Proxy Collection requires no separate merchant ID application, but all customer funds are held by the platform before disbursement, with a mandatory 30-day settlement cycle and inherent fund safety risks.
Merchant Self-Collection requires submitting full business credentials to apply for an exclusive merchant ID. All consumer payments transfer directly into your business bank account with T+1 next-day settlement, giving you full ownership and control over your revenue with enhanced security.
You only complete document submission once for all future business activity with no recurring filings, delivering reliable, fast cash flow. We highly recommend self-collection onboarding for long-term store operations.
Step 1: Complete MPA Onboarding Form & Submit By Email
First, fill out our official Merchant Processing Agreement (MPA) form, which will be provided to you by our team. Return the completed document via email.
Detailed Submission Instructions:
- Fill every field listed on the MPA form following provided guidelines
- All cells highlighted yellow are mandatory and must be fully completed; non-highlighted optional fields may be left blank if information is unavailable
- Attach the finished MPA form as an email attachment and send to acquirer UP, with a carbon copy to Qingo LLC for application tracking support

Step 2: Await Underwriting Review & Receive Merchant MID
After email submission, acquirer UP will conduct full compliance underwriting of your merchant application. Upon approval, UP will assign your exclusive Merchant Identification Number (MID).
Actions Required During Review:
- Keep your business email inbox monitored; UP’s underwriting team will send follow-up correspondence via mail for clarifications
- Once you receive your MID, log into your merchant operation app and bind the MID to your backend system to fully enable payment channels. POS terminal activation is required before opening a live storefront.
After successful binding, your payment processing channel is fully operational.
Step 3: Activate POS Terminal For Live Merchant Operations
If you utilize POS hardware for in-person checkout, terminal activation follows this streamlined workflow (refer to New User Guide - Terminal Activation for full specifications):
- Generate and submit a POS terminal activation request email to UP through your merchant backend system
- UP technical support team processes and completes terminal activation upon receiving your formal request mail
- Connected POS terminals auto-download and install live activated firmware automatically; no manual configuration required by merchants
- Activation finished – your POS hardware is ready for customer checkout transactions!
Support & Assistance
Only two core tasks fall under your responsibility throughout the entire onboarding workflow:
1. Fully complete the MPA application form and submit it via email to acquirer UP with a copy sent to Qingo LLC;
2. Complete POS terminal activation by providing all device SN serial numbers to UP’s underwriting team for validation.
All backend administrative work including compliance review, MID binding and POS provisioning will be handled by our internal team. Submit inquiries via email or directly reach your dedicated sales representative for real-time support.
🎉 Next Step: Create & Launch Your Merchant Store
Once your payment MID is active and all POS terminals provisioned, log into your merchant operation app to build and publish your official online/offline storefront. Complete walkthrough tutorials for the merchant app are available within the New User Onboarding Handbook.
Wishing you prosperous business and seamless payment processing!
